    Put my Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro lens through the tests this weekend and what an impressive piece of equipment. I haven’t really had a chance to use it for true macro yet, just some portraits. But, what an incredibly sharp lens, and the new Image Stabilization system Canon is using on their lenses is so helpful for hand holding. They say the average person can handhold a shot 4-stops slower than without. Can’t forget to mention I wouldn’t have this shot if it wasn’t for the gorgeous subject.
